Cline Tool Opens Third New Location within a Year
The Rockford, Illinois, facility joins the Iowa tool manufacturer’s recent expansions into North Carolina and Texas.
Cline Tool (Newton, Iowa), a Sandvik distributor and custom tool manufacturer, has announced its expansion into Rockford, Illinois, a third new market since the end of 2014. In addition to the Illinois facility, the company opened locations earlier this year in Asheville, North Carolina, and Houston, Texas. Each location offers a range of services including custom metalcutting tools, engineering services, integrated supply/vending programs and tool reconditioning.
The company has hired Tony Cornelius as regional sales manager for the Illinois territory. President Jim Long says that Mr. Cornelius brings over 25 years of experience in the metal fabrication industry, as well as technical skills and local connections.
