John formerly worked as an application engineer at Makino, a manufacturing engineer for Apple, and today serves as founder and CEO of a CNC training and consulting business called Way of the Mill. John’s unique approach to CNC machining challenges is highly technical, yet also pragmatic and simple. He has tuned this approach for more than a decade, executing complex machining projects across multiple industries, large and small, globally and locally. Throughout his career, Miller has been tasked with process planning, cutting tool packages, fixture design, programming, run-off, and final customer acceptance, with strict requirements for throughput and yield.
