DMG MORI USA opens a new facility in Medina, Ohio, to serve the Midwest region with advanced manufacturing solutions and training programs.

DMG MORI USA announces the opening of DMG MORI Cleveland, a state-of-the-art technology center located in Medina, Ohio. This new facility targets the Midwest region, including Kentucky, Ohio, western West Virginia, western Pennsylvania, and western New York — areas known for strong economic growth and active industries such as medical, aviation, space and high-tech manufacturing.

The Medina Technology Center employs around 60 skilled professionals, including applications engineers, sales representatives and service engineers, focused on providing high-quality customer support and solutions. The facility includes a 290 m² showroom featuring the latest manufacturing technologies and a 110 m² turnkey solutions area designed to offer comprehensive, integrated services tailored to customer needs.

Beyond sales and service, DMG MORI Cleveland provides specialized training programs on advanced CNC machining techniques, digital manufacturing innovations and exclusive DMG MORI technology cycles, highlighting the company’s dedication to workforce development and technological advancement.

To mark the opening, DMG MORI USA will host a local event October 21-22, 2025, alongside the company’s nationwide National Tech Days USA. Attendees can experience live demonstrations and interact with the latest innovations in manufacturing technology.

Showroom highlights include:

  • NLX 2500|700 2nd Gen. with Robo2Go Drawer System: This universal turning machine is designed for maximum productivity, combining high-speed performance and precision within a compact footprint. Its high rigidity and advanced thermal control provide excellent surface finishes and dimensional accuracy, making it well suited for industries like aerospace and medical device manufacturing. The Robo2Go automation system offers a flexible and intuitive solution for small and medium batch sizes, enhancing unattended production capabilities for increased throughput and operational efficiency.
  • DMU 75 MonoBlock 2nd Gen.: A high-performance five-axis machining center known for its MonoBlock design, which integrates the machine bed and columns into a single cast structure for enhanced rigidity and thermal stability. This design reduces vibrations and heat deformation, promoting exceptional precision and repeatability for complex, multi-sided parts. Its advanced automation options and user-friendly CELOS control interface support integration into Industry 4.0 environments, making it suitable for aerospace, medical and moldmaking industries.
  • NHX Series 4th Gen.: This next evolution in horizontal machining, equipped with CELOS X, features increased spindle output, improved cutting performance, faster acceleration/deceleration and enhanced chip evacuation and coolant management.
  • DX – Digital Transformation Solutions: Live demonstrations of my DMG MORI and DMG MORI Messenger will be showcased.
  • Additive Manufacturing Capabilities: A dedicated display area will feature high-quality metal additive manufacturing parts produced using DMG MORI’s innovative processes. The display parts emphasize a hybrid manufacturing approach, combining additive and subtractive technologies, and highlight the integration of additive technologies into traditional workflows.
