Renishaw Breaks Ground on North American Headquarters
The 133,000-square-foot office and warehouse will consolidate the company’s two existing sites.
U. K.-based Renishaw Inc. has broken ground on a 133,000-square-foot office and warehouse facility in West Dundee, Illinois, about 40 miles from Chicago. The two-story facility will serve as the company’s North American headquarters upon its projected completion in June 2016, including space for product development, testing, warehousing and distribution.
The facility will consolidate the company’s two existing sites. The additional space will include flexible training and demonstration areas, with an open two-story exhibit hall for customer tours and product demos.
The company has over 4,000 employees and 15 offices in the United Kingdom as well as 56 additional locations in 32 countries.
