Franconia Industries, Diehl Brass Solutions’ North American sales organization, is showcasing its EZeeBrass lead-free brass for the brass semi-finished products industry.

EZeeBrass features an optimized composition of 58% copper, 41% zinc and 0.4% magnesium, which the company says gives it enhanced machining and processing capabilities. Its chipbreaking properties, achieved through the addition of magnesium, provide short, easily broken chips at high cutting speeds, making it well suited for automated machining processes.

EZeeBrass provides corrosion resistance and meets all relevant stress corrosion cracking tests according to ISO 6957 specifications, according to the company. EZeeBrass is a lead-free solution that is said to be both sustainable and economical.
