provides a cost-effective option with a reduced footprint. Designed for job shops and flexible manufacturing environments, it is said to support maximum efficiency and fast ROI, even for small batches and variable production mixes.
With axis strokes of 3,160 × 2,100 × 750 mm, the Laser Next Core can handle parts of any size and geometry. It is designed to provide high quality even with frequent production changeovers, providing solid performance in both 2D and 3D cutting, as well as optional welding applications. Typical applications involve limited batch sizes (less than 1,000 parts per batch), where quick setup and production changeover are crucial.
The Laser Next Core provides a low cost-per-part through optimized fixed and running costs, reduced labor intervention, minimal maintenance effort and limited gas and power consumption. Machine operation is simplified by one-click programming, an intuitive human-machine interface (HMI) with graphical teach panel and automatic head-offset compensation by local head axis, making high-performance 3D laser cutting accessible and efficient.
The Laser Next Core integrates advanced solutions that improve performance, flexibility and ease of use. Its maintenance-free linear drives and direct motors provide high dynamics and reliability, while the dual-position, height-adjustable tables make part handling ergonomic and flexible. An optional welding head further extends the application range to lap and butt joints. Safe-cutting nozzles minimize gas consumption, reducing nitrogen use by up to 30%.
With the Laser Next Core joining the lineup, Prima Power’s 3D Laser product portfolio now includes four models. The Laser Next Core 2131 provides versatile performance and low cost-per-part for flexible production, while the Laser Next 2141 balances flexibility and productivity. The Laser Next 1530 and 2130 models are designed for high productivity in continuous production environments, even with material-handling automation. Completing the range, the recently launched Giga Laser Next is designed for large-scale, high-volume manufacturing, providing maximum productivity in minimum space.
Prima Power 3D laser machines can be integrated into turnkey automated systems powered by the company’s in-house robotics integration unit. This modular platform manages 3D laser cutting, part handling, loading/unloading and quality checks, enabling manufacturers to advance their production in a seamless and adaptive flow that evolves with their needs.
