Hexagon (Stockholm, Sweden) has acquired New River Kinematics (NRK), a U.S.-based engineering company that specializes in 3D analysis software for portable metrology applications. Located in Williamsburg, Virginia, NRK is the producer of Spatial Analyzer, used to address challenges related to large-scale measurement with portable metrology devices for industries including aerospace and shipbuilding. The acquisition will enable greater distribution of NRK products, especially in international markets.
