IMCO Carbide Tool Inc.’s Pow-R-Feed M935 five-flute end mills are designed to provide higher metal removal rates and a free cutting action in mild steels, stainless steels and titanium.

The company employs a process called multi-parabolic grinding (MPG) to produce specialized end face, flute and core geometries. These geometries facilitate aggressive tool paths, even with complex movements. According to IMCO, the special geometries work together to reduce chip accumulation and increase metal removal rates at high speeds. This free cutting action enables the operator to run the machine at upper capacity levels. Additionally, the Pow-R-Feed M935 end mills feature an exclusive high-lubricity AlTiSiN coating to keep chips moving and tools running cooler, making them well suited for plunging and slotting operations.

The Pow-R-Feed M935 end mills also incorporate specialized flute and core designs that support aggressive tool paths, stepovers and depths. The core is made of tough carbide with fine cutting edges designed for strength, along with a wiper flat end for smooth floor finishes. All edges are prepped for extended tool life.
