The strength of Taiwan’s machine tool industry is its collaboration — the ability of different companies making advanced machine tools, smart automation systems, precision motion components and more to work together to create solutions that help manufacturers improve productivity, precision, flexibility and operational efficiency.
The Taiwan Flagship Showcase at IMTS brings together 20 Taiwanese manufacturers in one pavilion, enabling visitors to discover new suppliers, explore complementary technologies and gain a broader understanding of Taiwan’s advanced manufacturing capabilities.
In addition to dedicated Aerospace and Semiconductor Application Zones that demonstrate real-world manufacturing applications, the 20 exhibitors showcase their technologies across three product categories that reflect the evolving needs of modern manufacturing:
- Advanced machine tools. The showcase features a wide range of machine tools, including machining centers, milling, grinding, EDM, broaching, beam processing, drilling, sawing, slitting and five-axis machining. Highlights include machining centers from Kao Ming, Mill Star and Rayder; milling machines from Pao Fong; Palmary's high-precision grinding machines; Axisco’s broaching machines; TOA DR’s slitting solutions; Oscar EDM’s electrical discharge machining systems; Big Stone’s CNC sawing and drilling machines; and CISFUN’s beam, pipe and flange processing solutions.
- Smart automation and digital manufacturing. As digital transformation accelerates, Taiwan is expanding its capabilities in digital manufacturing to help manufacturers improve machine utilization, productivity, connectivity and overall production efficiency. Featured solutions include Syntec’s CNC controllers, robotic arms and vision systems, as well as Tenpro’s smart tool management systems and intelligent tool cabinets.
- Precision components and manufacturing solutions. In addition to complete machines, Taiwan produces the critical components and manufacturing solutions that power advanced production systems. Featured technologies include Theta Precision’s built-in and motor spindles, Vernal's machine tool components and toolholders, Bright Jing Chin’s grippers and couplings, Aurora Sinter Metals’ powder metallurgy parts, Flying Rays’ precision machinery parts and custom components, Eang Lian’s industrial brushes, TSENSE’s tool setters, and Super Air Compressor’s condensate drains and motorized ball valves.
The Taiwan Flagship Showcase has a program of events throughout the week, starting with an opening ceremony on September 14. Smart Manufacturing Pitches, held September 15–17, provide buyers with the opportunity to explore the latest aerospace, semiconductor and smart manufacturing component solutions, and learn how these technologies can improve productivity, precision and manufacturing efficiency. Guided brand tours are scheduled for each afternoon, introducing featured exhibitors and their latest technologies, followed by happy hour networking sessions.
