Vimana showcases its new predictive maintenance software that provides factories and industrial equipment field service the data-driven intelligence to optimize maintenance processes and deliver valuable services to customers.

With Vimana’s predictive maintenance software, users can connect and collect data from factory equipment or installed equipment at customer sites.

Vimana says it collects and transforms large volumes of data from multiple sources, including sensors, machine data, manufacturing and IT systems. Vimana uses industry standards (MTConnect, OPC UA) and machine learning to prepare data for predictive analytics.

Remote monitoring offers real-time visibility, enabling users to understand the equipment and component status, health, performance and utilization with Vimana’s pre-built and customizable dashboards. The monitoring also help users identify assets that require service or replacement, as well as monitor and compare critical maintenance KPIs for rapid response to issues.

Users can apply out-of-the-box drill-down insights and root-cause analysis to get insight into what happened, how long and why it happened to fix problems faster. Additionally, they can monitor and analyze usage, process conditions, faults and warnings to predict failures for better planning and scheduling of maintenance activities. The software enables users to analyze trends and detect anomalies, as well as understand when parameters do not fall within the prescribed range for proactive service to reduce downtime.

The predictive maintenance software automates communications and optimizes maintenance processes, and Vimana’s data-driven alerts are based on rules trigger actions. The software can be integrated with maintenance execution software (EAM, CMMS, FSM, ERP, CRM) using secure APIs and connectors to enable closed-loop maintenance activity.

Vimana’s predictive maintenance software is said to provide real-time insights to enable remote service delivery that reduces on-site visits and inspections, powers new contract-based services, and enables new outcome-based services and pricing models for revenue growth.
