Walter USA has released the DB130 Advance, its smallest solid carbide micro drill with diameters ranging from 0.004" to 0.06" (0.1 to 1.45 mm). With a point angle of 118 degrees and cylindrical shank, the drill meets DIN 1899 standards.
The drill delivers precision and process reliability thanks in part to its micro-grain carbide, which improves cutting edge formation for high-precision applications. Due to its standard range, the drill can be used universally in a range of ISO applications including steels, stainless steel, superalloys and hardened materials. This micro drill can find ready application in general machining, watchmaking, automotive and food, as well as in die and mold.
