These test bars are designed for easy and quick confirmation of accurate machine spindle alignment. Regular inspection of the spindle with a test bar can improve tool life by helping operators reduce TIR.
Each test bar has had its diameter and length certified and gaged to an accuracy of 0.0001", the company says. The bars are supplied in protective wooden boxes with handles, hinges and clasps.
