All this week, we are blogging live from the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS), which runs September 10-15 at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois. The show features thousands of exhibiting companies and hundreds of thousands of registrants, but AMT – The Association For Manufacturing Technology says that this show is special in its focus on providing resources and technologies aimed at job shops

The show is also packed with co-located shows as well as conferences, like the Top Shops Conference and the Additive Manufacturing Conference. Add to that the new technology and ideas that can help solve your manufacturing problems, and there’s obviously a lot to cover!

That’s why we’re running multiple blog posts each day of the show. Stay tuned throughout each day as you walk the show floor for interpretations of technological developments and news about what companies are doing in their booths. Of course, we know the show demands a lot of attention, so be sure to sign up for The Shop e-newsletter to get the best of these posts delivered to your inbox Wednesday and Friday.
