Learn how a machine shop’s value stream will increase significantly through advanced data acquisition and analysis, machining strategy development and machining process security.

Presenters: Jeff Rizzie and Bijal Patel

Jeff Rizzie has almost 40 years of technical expertise centered around manufacturing processes with a concentration on metal cutting and machine tool integration. He has extensive international strategic planning and leadership experience working to drive and support key initiatives for customers.

In his current role, Jeff is responsible for executing strategies that drive the sale and support of Sandvik Coromant's digital machining portfolio. He is tasked with identifying and reporting industry trends that will impact customer success relative to digital machining.

Bijal brings a diverse background to his role as Digital Machining Specialist. Drawing from his mechanical engineering and marketing experience, he’s responsible for strategic business plan development for Sandvik Coromant’s digital machining product portfolio.

Starting at Sandvik, Inc. as an engineer, Bijal worked with production concepts from quality and productivity improvement to machine investments and capacity planning. At Sandvik Coromant, in his most recent role as the Marketing Planning Manager, Bijal focused on marketing development projects and new product launches.

He holds an MBA with a specialization in marketing and B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
