Tirath Singh

Production Manager, TECMA

Tirath Singh started his manufacturing journey in 1997 at a small family-owned machine shop and simultaneously completed a vigorous apprenticeship program at the local community college and university. Since then, he has worked for large and small machine shops, machining a variety of products including ceramics, medical devices, aerospace components and R&D projects. He has used several industry-leading CAD/CAM systems as a machininst, CNC programmer and production manager. Tirath is currently with TECMA in Sacramento, California where they specialize in high-temperature metals and custom machining.

Presenter 2:

Marc Bissell

Senior Applications Specialist, HCL

Marc has worked in the precision manufacturing and CAD/CAM industries for more than three decades, overcoming manufacturing challenges using cutting-edge technology for a wide variety of industries. Originally trained as a CNC machinist and programmer, Marc went on to become a manufacturing engineer, plant manager and global manufacturing consultant. Marc’s experience includes decades of hands-on tool and fixture design, manufacturing engineering, solid modeling, and CAD/CAM design and development. As a senior applications specialist, he is a key member of the team which led to the development of tolerance based machining, SolidWorks CAM, CAMWorks ShopFloor and new smart manufacturing technology.
