Effective January 1, DMG Mori Seiki USA (Hoffman Estates, Ill.) has concluded its relationship with Maruka, a distributor of the company’s machines in six states. While the two companies will maintain an international relationship, each will pursue other opportunities within the United States, DMG Mori Seiki says. Existing U.S. customers can directly contact DMG Mori Seiki USA for service, sales, parts and customer support. The company is currently adding staff and opening local facilities in Tampa, Fla.; Parsippany, N.J.; Wichita, Kan.; Kansas City, Mo.; and Tulsa, Okla.
