EuroMold 2013 Attracted More Than 58,000 Visitors
The international moldmaking show attracted a record number of attendees to its 2013 edition.
Held December 3 to 6 in Frankfurt, Germany, EuroMold 2013 attracted more than 58,000 visitors from 83 countries, an attendance number that exceeds reports from the show’s previous five years. Sixty-six percent of attendees came from Germany, while the remaining 34 percent came from abroad. Visitors were primarily composed of department and development managers, owners and managers, and skilled workers. The automotive industry represented 34 percent of visitors, followed by mechanical engineering representing 26 percent, electrical and electronics representing 11 percent, and medical technology representing 10 percent of visitors.
Highlights of the trade show included the one-day Terry Wohlers Conference on “Business and Investment Opportunities in Additive Manufacturing and 3D Printing,” as well as forums focused on materials, lightweight construction, engineering and design.
EuroMold 2014 is scheduled for November 25-28 at the Frankfurt am Main Exhibition Centre in Frankfurt, Germany.
