Exact Metrology (Cincinnati, Ohio), a supplier of metrology equipment, recently opened a new office in the suburbs of Milwaukee and will host an open house at that location October 25 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The company says it opened the facility to better service customers in the Midwest and Canada after five years of rapid growth. It provides additional space for software and hardware training, contract measurement services and sales and application support.

In addition to the company’s own application engineering team, representatives from vendor partners will be on-site at the open house to demonstrate a range of scanning equipment and software. Ranging from systems capable of scanning items as small as a human hair to parts measuring several thousand meters, this equipment includes articulating arms from Romer; laser scanners and trackers from Leica Geosystems and NDI; 3D scanners from Artec, Surphaser and Wenzel; white-light scanners from Breuckmann and Cognitens; and 3D software from Geomagic.
