GF Machining Solutions Hosts Solutions Days Event
The three-day event offers technology demonstrations and workshops on application topics.
GF Machining Solutions is holding its three-day Solutions Days technology and education event June 17-19, 2015 at its Competence Center in Lincolnshire, Illinois. During the event, the company will feature advanced part-processing demonstrations and run a series of manufacturing-based, application-focused workshops. Among the items on display will be milling, EDM, laser texturing and automation technologies.
Workshop topics include developments in high-speed, five-axis machining; ways in which 3DS die-sinking technology can improve tool life and cycle times in mold machining; developments in laser texturing technology; and workholding and automation solutions for the company’s System 3R. Other talks will cover ways to overcome the challenge of skilled labor shortage with advanced machine tool technology.
