Hexagon AB (Cobham, United Kingdom), a global provider of 3D design, measurement and positioning solutions, will host its inaugural international conference June 6 through 9 at the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort in Orlando, Florida. Employing the theme “Building a Smarter World,” Hexagon 2011 will emphasize how the company’s industry-specific technologies make processes and infrastructures better, safer and smarter. More than 3,000 attendees are expected.
The event will bring together the latest technologies and user communities from all of the company’s divisions, including Intergraph, Metrology, Leica Geosystems and Technology. More than 200 targeted break-out sessions will incorporate hands-on training courses, previews of new technologies, interactive technical demonstrations and workshops, and customer testimonials. For its part, Hexagon Metrology will offer various sessions about applications and trends in dimensional measurement, with a special focus on PC-DMIS software.
