Registration for the 28th iteration of the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) is open and available at IMTS.com. Scheduled for September 13-18 at Chicago’s McCormick Place, IMTS 2010 will host more than 92,000 industry professionals from 116 countries.
This year’s event is on track to be the eighth largest since the show’s inception in 1927, says John Krisko, Director—Exhibitions. Based on the response so far, more than 1 million net square feet of exhibit space is expected to be filled by more than 1,000 exhibitors. “It is encouraging that the show is holding steady in these uncertain times and that there appears to be confidence in the future and importance of global manufacturing,” Mr. Krisko says.
