MAG Group Consolidates Organization
The machine tool manufacturer seeks to meet rapid growth and market demands with more concentrated leadership.
Machine tool manufacturer MAG has consolidated its organizational structure in an effort to concentrate responsibilities within the MAG Group.
Dr. Heiner Lang, the company's former COO, has been appointed president of European and Asian operations of MAG IAS in Germany. Mr. Lang has been with the company since 2009 and was most recently responsible for the company's product development and technological strategy.
In order to strengthen the company’s rapidly growing service unit, Michael Heinz was appointed as a member to MAG Germany's management board. Mr. Heinz will focus on strengthening the company’s global position in service and retrofitting, as well as its standard and technological machines for the general market.
Together with CFO Andreas Meinz, Mr. Lang and Mr. Heinze constitute the operative management under the leadership of Prof. Mo I. Meidar, CEO of MAG Group. According to Prof. Meidar, the consolidation will enable MAG to better meet rapid growth and market demands.
