MC Machinery Systems (Wood Dale, Illinois), a division of the Mitsubishi Corporation, has become the official and exclusive importer of Tanaka gantry lasers in North America. This addition to Mitsubishi Laser’s product lineup is designed primarily for large-part fabricators, the company says.
Available models include the LMR series and the LMX series. The former models are designed for high-precision, high-quality processing and low running costs in medium to thick mild steel plate. They feature 2-, 4- or 6-kW oscillators. The latter series of 6-kW lasers are designed to combine high power and high output for continuous operation.
