Mori Celebrates Opening of New U.S. HQ
Machine tool builder Mori Seiki will host a grand opening ceremony and open house from November 3-5 to celebrate the completion of its 102,000-square-foot North American corporate headquarters northwest of Chicago in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. The three-day event will showcase more than 25 machine and cutting demonstrations, technologies in development and technical presentations from the Mori Seiki engineers and guest speakers.
Machine tool builder Mori Seiki will host a grand opening ceremony and open house from November 3-5 to celebrate the completion of its 102,000-square-foot North American corporate headquarters northwest of Chicago in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.
The three-day event will showcase more than 25 machine and cutting demonstrations, technologies in development and technical presentations from the Mori Seiki engineers and guest speakers. It will also mark the introduction of the NVL1350T and NV7000DCG machines, as well as the regional debut of the NT1000 and NMV3000DCG machines.
The new facility is twice the size of the company’s former headquarters. Two 25-ton cranes will facilitate the positioning and operation of the company’s product lines in the 14,000-square-foot showroom. Additionally, the facility will house Mori Seiki University, with three classrooms and a learning lab for traditional and hands-on machine instruction.
