Machine tool, laser and semiconductor equipment manufacturer NTC America Corporation (Novi, Michigan) recently hosted an open house to announce the consolidation of its machine tool business with Komatsu America Industries. NTC America, a subsidiary of Komatsu NTC, will now take responsibility for all products formerly handled by Komatsu America Industries.
“We are aiming to achieve not only a more complete framework in the field of sales and service, but also to achieve a much shorter response time to fulfill our wide range of customer needs,” says Ken Fumoto, president of NTC America.
More than 100 guests attended the open house, including personnel from OEMs, Tier One suppliers, dealers and employees. The consolidation follows the April 2011 merger of Komatsu NTC and Komatsu Machinery Corporation.
