Siemens to Acquire TESIS PLMware

Siemens has agreed to acquire TESIS PLMware, an integrator of PLM software. The acquisition will help Siemens customers integrate the company’s Teamcenter PLM portfolio with global product development and manufacturing environments. The agreement includes both Munich, Germany-based TESIS PLMware and its U.S. business headquartered in Chicago, Ill. After closing, the acquired company will be assigned to Siemens PLM Software, a business unit of the Siemens Industry Automation Division.
