John Belzer, president of TCI Precision Metals (Gardena, California) has agreed to fill a vacancy on the National Tooling and Machining Association (NTMA) executive team effective immediately through March 2013.
Mr. Belzer is no stranger to the organization, having served as the its chairman emeritus in 2002, as a trustee for Los Angeles NTMA training centers for six years, and as a leader of the national budget and finance team for the past nine years. He also currently serves as a board member of the National Institute for Metalworkign Skills (NIMS).
The vacancy was created by the departure of John Lewis, president of Lewis Aerospace (Phoenix, Arizona), who requested the NTMA board replace his seat so that he can focus on his family business.
