Carl Zeiss IMT (Maple Grove, Minnesota) has unveiled the Metrology Portal, a hub of information, value-added services and discussion that expands on the company’s existing offering of Internet-based knowledge and software updates. The objective is to help customers increase productivity and to assist them in their daily measuring work and plans for future projects.

In addition to the latest application knowledge covering all aspects of measurement technology, the portal provides a forum for beginners and experts alike to exchange ideas and know-how. Other features include eLearning videos; descriptions of fundamentals and various measuring technologies; and downloadable programs, help scripts, macros for myCalypso and other software add-ons. Additionally, Zeiss customers with a software support agreement can access all software updates and service patches as well as extensive product documentation.
