Western Gage Corporation offers MillCheck and Micro II readouts to operate common dual- and single-master air gages as well as LVDT electronic gages. The gage readouts incorporate sealed controls, solid-state pressure sensors, and digital and bar-graph LCD displays to enhance performance in both shopfloor and metrology lab environments.

The MillCheck gage readout features high-resolution LCD bar graphs and four-decade digital displays, the company says. Designed for low power consumption, it operates from either standard D-cell batteries or AC power adaptors. With user-selectable inch and metric gaging ranges, the readout is designed to provide an economical replacement for mechanical air gage instruments. It can be configured for either LVDT-type electronic gages or air gages.

The Micro II readout incorporates backlit LCD displays that flag out-of-tolerance conditions by changing color from green to red. According to the company, the seven-decade digital displays show actual feature sizes or deviations from nominal sizes. It also includes analog bar graphs to display the test piece condition relative to the product limits. Auto-zero and auto-span settings are said to ease operator use. RS-232C serial data and process control outputs are standard.
