Automated Carbide Rod Cutting Streamlines Production
Rush Machinery displays one in its catalog of carbide rod cutting machines at IMTS 2022.
Rush Machinery showcases its CNC “Auto-Cut” carbide rod cut-off machine, which the company claims can double the production rate for cutting carbide and hardened steel rod. Designed to be user-friendly, the machine includes CNC controls with a touch screen operator interface. The machine automatically loads and cuts rods from a magazine with a capacity of .055” (1.4mm) to 1-9/16” (40mm) diameter carbide rod, up to 16” long, and it comes standard with a flood coolant system.
