Building Blocks and Partnerships
Attendees can experience a variety of live demonstrations, as well as toolpath optimization, machine monitoring and connectivity demos and more as they work their way through the Controls and CAD/CAM and Machine Tool halls where Vericut is being highlighted.
CGTech is everywhere. Not only can you see live demonstrations of its Vericut 9.3 software for CNC simulation, verification, optimization, analysis and additive manufacturing in the newly updated and larger 40x40 booth (Level 3, 133340), but attendees can also experience a variety of toolpath optimization, machine monitoring and connectivity demos as they work their way through the Controls and CAD/CAM and Machine Tool halls where Vericut is being highlighted.
But first, don't miss this fully machined family favorite block (or brick) in the CGTech booth, whose pockets and required machining on the part's underside showcase the capabilities of Vericut’s force optimization software. This demo is a partnership between CGTech and Okuma (Level 3 – 338500). Watch a Force optimization demo of the block in the CGTech booth and then head over to Okuma to see the block being machined live.
CGTech is not doing IMTS alone. The software provider has partnered with a variety of technology suppliers to give attendees a close look at Vericut’s capabilities in various applications:
- ICAM Technologies, which offers its adaptive post-processing solution CAM-POST, is only a few booths away (Level 3, 133217), promoting its technology's use with Vericut.
- Across the aisle in Scytec's booth (Level 3, 133240), CGTech is demonstrating how shops can connect to a live machine and get data back from that machine. Scytec OEE manufacturing machine monitoring and data collection DataXchange software pulls live data from the machine as it's running and then sends that data back to Vericut. This new Vericut module developed in partnership with Scytec is called CNC Machine Connect.
- And don't forget an additional Vericut demo station in the Cambrio booth (Level 3, 338880).
Before you leave the CGTech booth, find Gene Granata, director of product management, whois giving a live presentation on Monday, September 12, at 11 a.m. in Room W193A on how to adopt technology to fill the experience gap and do more with less. If you missed the live presentation, Granata is on hand to discuss the skills gap strategies he shared during the presentation.
