Climate Control Inspections Seek to Prevent Unplanned Downtime
Electronic equipment failure is a common problem experienced by many facilities. Rittal seeks to help facilities overcome these reoccurring issues with regular climate inspections to proactively define flaws in equipment and prevent unplanned downtime.
Rittal North America, a global manufacturer of industrial and IT enclosures, conducts climate inspections in manufacturing facilities designed to evaluate the efficiency and operability of enclosure cooling units that keep vital equipment performing at its best.
Many facilities experience unplanned downtime caused by electronic equipment failure. Rittal says many plant equipment users do not recognize failing cooling solutions cause 80 percent of equipment failures. Most facilities underestimate the number of cooling units in their facility, causing an inaccurate picture of climate control efficiency and operability. Rittal says having a complete inventory of the cooling units and their health helps companies to develop a proactive maintenance plan and keep operations fully functional.
Rittal seeks to help companies with this inventory and maintenance through its climate inspections. The climate inspections provide a full inventory, condition and energy report of all cooling units. Upon the climate inspection, Rittal also conducts a maintenance plan consultation in order to keep companies proactive and on top of cooling unit health. Through these inspections, Rittal is able to provide companies with solutions to decrease costs, energy usage, and carbon footprint.
