Filterless Oil-Mist System Offers Quiet Operation

Available from Tecnara Tooling Systems, the Aoi MistCapture filterless oil-mist system is designed to eliminate 3-micron particles. The system is available in four models designed to handle a range of air volumes, velocities and applications. Compact and easy to install, the system can be fine-tuned for various settings. Floor or low-stand installation is possible.

An impeller uses centrifugal force to separate particulates and is sound-attenuated for quiet operation. Air intake may be located as far as 25 ft. away from the filtration system. Operating air temperatures range to 60°C (140°F) at the intake plate. Purified air is emitted from the exhaust port. Maintenance can be performed without removing the duct hose from the intake port. The unit is well-suited for use with machining centers, lathes and multitasking machines.
