Erowa Technology offers its Robot Dynamic modular system, which can be extended in all directions at any time. It is designed to turn a single cell with one magazine into a linear cell with as many as eight machines. The individual components can be purchased as needed and repeatedly rearranged to enable users to configure the most efficient automated cell for their operations, the company says. For machines with only front-door access, an additional axis provides loading capability. The system is capable of inserting tools directly into the machine spindle, which extends the capacity of the tool changer.
