Kaiser Tool Co. offers Thinbit Form-A-Groove tooling, which can be customized to generate complex profiles in a single plunge. Consisting of combinations of simple grooves or more complex combinations of grooves, arcs, angles, and convex and concave radii, the form tools can be composed of stacks of individual inserts or a single carbide block as wide as 2". They are designed to simplify programming, increase production and free tool locations for other tools. Toolholders are available in 1" round and ½", ¾" and 1" square for internal and external applications, and  TiN, TiCN, TiAlN or diamond film coatings are available.
