Laser Marking System
The latest offering in the Electrox Cobra series, the Cobra ES is suitable for small- to medium-volume manufacturing.
The laser marking system offers a viable alternative to traditional marking systems, the company says. A permanent, legible mark can be produced on a range of materials, and the need for inks, acids or solvents is eliminated.
Equipped with control electronics, software, a safety workstation and a workpiece- focusing mechanism, the system is based on a diode-pumped Nd: YAG laser, which is guaranteed for 10,000 hours. In addition, the laser controller has been redesigned and is now offered as a handheld unit that is attached magnetically to the laser workstation.
Other features include a marking field of 140 mm, with the option of 220 mm and the company’s Control intuitive software. Compatible with all current versions of Windows, the software can import a range of graphic file formats; generate bar codes, 2D codes and data codes; perform automatic serialisation; and merge data from external sources.
