Latest Respiratory Protection Product Joins Lineup
New Hard Hat PAPR with T94iH-R helmet is designed to improve compliance in the most demanding industrial environments.
Miller Electric Mfg. LLC, worldwide manufacturer of Miller brand arc welding equipment, announces the latest addition to its lineup of respiratory protection products — the Hard Hat Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR) with T94iH-R helmet.
Made for environments that require respiratory protection plus a higher level of head protection, the new Hard Hat PAPR with T94iH-R comes equipped with an MSA V-Gard hard hat with a “V” design that deflects objects and provides added protection during the event of impact.
A 44 in² integrated HDV grind shield provides a larger, clear viewing area for grinding and other tasks while the lift-to-talk head assembly improves communication, enabling the user to have access to the face without removing the head assembly. In addition, an exclusive Dualtec manifold system — with six adjustable air vents and dual speeds — helps keep operators cool and comfortable.
Various features of the Hard Hat PAPR with T94iH-R are meant to enhance comfort, visibility and compliance. The MSA Fas-Trac III ratchet-suspension headgear provides comfort by reducing pressure points and increasing stability. ClearLight 2.0 lens technology provides advanced high-definition optics for the most realistic view that’s clearer and brighter — before, during and after each weld — to reduce eye strain and improve weld quality. The low-profile breathing tube is positioned at the bottom of the neck instead of the top of the head, providing balance and comfort for all-day wear. There is also an optional heavy-duty head seal to provide an assigned protection factor (APF) of 1000.
More information about the Hard Hard PAPR with T94iH-R is available on the company’s website.
