Pinpoint Laser Systems Inc.’s Microgage Transceiver integrates a laser transmitter with a dual-axis digital receiver, providing high accuracy and ease of use for a wide range of industrial alignment applications.

Designed to meet the demanding needs of industries such as aerospace, aircraft, medical, automotive, manufacturing and shipbuilding, the Microgage Transceiver offers precise measurements of surface flatness, small slope changes and angular deviations. Its integrated system simplifies setup and operation, enabling technicians to achieve high-precision results with minimal training.

A key feature of the Microgage Transceiver is its ability to detect and measure angular deviation with high sensitivity. This capability enables the operator to identify even the slightest angular shift or misalignment in machinery or surface planes — down to sub arc-second level changes. By tracking angular shifts in both axes simultaneously, the device provides deeper insight into how structural or mechanical components behave over time or under stress. This makes the transceiver a valuable tool for precision-critical tasks such as aligning gantry rails, verifying planar surfaces or maintaining alignment consistency across long distances.
