Omax offers a rotary axis head for its JetMachining Center said to be easier to program with an expanded parametric shape library for enhanced 3D pipe cutting. When equipped with a rotary axis, the company’s JetMachining centers are capable of six-axis cutting that can create accurate, complex 3D parts from pre-existing CAD drawings or DXF files, it says. With the expanded parametric shape library, the rotary axis is well-suited for pipe and tube cutting, simplifying projects such as intersecting pipe fittings. The drive head also enables customized fixtures, and the versatile attachment design enables the head to be positioned in various locations in the tank.

Fully submersible and powered by common table controls, the rotary head does not require an additional power supply. The accessory features a built-in water drip sensor with warning lights and automatic shutdown. External grease fittings enable easy maintenance. The rotary axis head is retrofitable to Omax’s existing machine models.
