The T-Slot Clean is said to be a cost-saving, work safety product that keeps chips and coolant from collecting in t-slots on the table of a vertical machining center, improves the efficiency of table cleaning and reduces setup time. Each set includes aluminum extrusions of different sizes precision machined to fit into t-slots on machining center tables. They are offered in five sizes of t-slots widths: 0.625 inch, 0.688 inch, 14, 18 and 22 mm. When the product is not being used, operators push the protectors into place and it won't collect chips or coolant. When it is time to use the product, a key included with the set removes the protectors. Users are said to save the time required to clean the t-slots packed with chips.
