Take a Spin Where Speed Matters
IMTS22: NSK America Corporation showcases hand tools, spindles and a play table of technology that offers hands-on learning.
NSK America Corp. (Level 3 – 237311) gets nostalgic at its booth with two custom-built classic arcade game systems – featuring favorites like Pac-Man, Galaga and others – that bring a bit of fun to the show and challenge attendee speed and precision.
Those two words are also critical qualities of the hand tools and spindles NSK has on display at eight kiosks and a play table of technology offering hands-on learning. Stop by to polish or grind a piece of material or even write your name. Then step up to one of the game consoles to compete for the daily high score that could win you a free Chromebook, and don’t forget to grab a free “Speed Matters” t-shirt.
This is also a great time to check out NSK’s expertise in micro-machining. The company partnered with OSG on micro-machining projects that feature OSG micro-cutting tools and NSK’s micro high-speed spindles (e.g., CTS-3030 coolant-through spindle). A demonstration part on display showcases the accuracy and finish on a four-inch diameter coin with fine details and sharp corner radii.
NSK staff has also become infamous via social media for their restaurant recommendations while in town, so feel free to ask for a suggestion.
