LMT Fette says its thread rolling head systems can be used on virtually any type of machine tool.
LMT Fette says its thread rolling head systems can be used on virtually any type of machine tool including basic engine lathes, pillar drills, single, multiple spindle bar and chucking machines, rotary transfer machines, NC and CNC lathes, machining centers, drill presses, special-purpose machines and moving head stock lathes. The company says its product is especially well-suited for NC and CNC equipment and that thread rolling eliminates multiple passes required in single-point threading. The head system is designed to accept thread types with diameters ranging from 0.055" to 9.055".
