Workholding on a CNC router can be a challenge because vacuum plates or tables have limitations. A material with unusual properties helps overcome these limitations to make CNC routing more productive.

What can you do with a coating that turns sticky when heated by a passing cutting tool? You use it to solve the problems associated with machining thin or small parts on a CNC router. Although workholding isn’t the most glamorous aspect of metalworking operations, it is often the area in which some of the most unusual and inventive solutions are found. This product seems to be a good example.
