PartMaker Inc., a division of Delcam Plc, offers PartMaker version 2013 software for programming CNC mills, lathes, wire EDM, turn-mills and Swiss-type lathes. The updated software features a revamped surface machining module, powerful CAM machining algorithms and a restyled, more productive user interface.
PartMaker’s Advanced Surface Machining (ASM) functionality is based on the same technology and algorithms underpinning Delcam’s PowerMill CAM system for the manufacture of complex shapes, the company says, adding that the ASM functionality is well-suited for complicated parts, particularly for those in the medical device and aerospace arenas.
Version 2013 features a sleeker, restyled user interface and a Job Explorer tree designed to make navigating Machining Function Face Windows and Part Features faster. Along with other improvements, a number of new controls have been added to increase the software’s intuitiveness.
