Cincinnati Inc. Establishes Direct Sales Operations in Several States
The effort will put sales engineers on the ground in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Washington, D.C.
Cincinnati Inc. (CI) is expanding its direct sales and service operations. The company has hired Pat King to serve as direct regional sales engineer for Oklahoma and Arkansas, while Craig Barbeck and Ken Satryb, current regional sales engineers with the company, will handle direct sales in Pennsylvania, Maryland and Washington, D.C.—areas formerly serviced by distributors.
“Expansion of our direct sales program will afford customers better access to CI resources and enable pre- and post-sales support at the highest levels,” says John Prevish, sales manager.
Manufacturers now succeeding with additive manufacturing are beginning to see what its ultimate impact might be. Here are ideas about the reach that AM will have, and the kinds of changes and advances it will enable.
An engineering modification that would have been impractical or cost-prohibitive in the past is realized on a machine tool performing metal 3D printing and machining in the same cycle.
A new metal AM system for batches of end-use parts was designed to permit productivity and machine pricing comparable to a CNC machine tool.
