Cincinnati Inc. Establishes Direct Sales Operations in Several States
The effort will put sales engineers on the ground in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Washington, D.C.
Cincinnati Inc. (CI) is expanding its direct sales and service operations. The company has hired Pat King to serve as direct regional sales engineer for Oklahoma and Arkansas, while Craig Barbeck and Ken Satryb, current regional sales engineers with the company, will handle direct sales in Pennsylvania, Maryland and Washington, D.C.—areas formerly serviced by distributors.
“Expansion of our direct sales program will afford customers better access to CI resources and enable pre- and post-sales support at the highest levels,” says John Prevish, sales manager.
The widespread outsourcing of large machine castings led a collaborative team at Oak Ridge National Laboratory to tackle the machine tool supply chain. The first step? 3D print the largest cast component.

You can 3D print the part, but can you finish it? Here is how to overcome the challenge of part deflection in the machining of lightweight, complex AM parts.
