Kapp Technologies Acquires Majority Stake in Penta Gear Metrology

Kapp Technologies (Boulder, Colorado) has acquired a majority stake in Penta Gear Metrology LLC (Dayton, Ohio). Penta builds both functional and analytical gear measurement systems as well as software.
Penta President Marvin Nicholson says, “The partnership with Kapp Technologies expands opportunities for us and provides resources to accelerate our new developments.” Such developments include the PGM400, introduced at IMTS 2016, which serves as a larger and faster sibling to the company’s smaller ND-series products.
