Leistritz Appoints CFO
Robert Richter’s responsibilities cover the corporation’s Pump, Machine Tool, Turbine Component and Extruder business units.
Leistritz Advanced Technologies Corp. has appointed Robert Richter chief financial officer. His responsibilities include the Pump, Machine Tool and Turbine Component business units based in Allendale, New Jersey, as well as the Extruder business unit based in Somerville.
Mr. Richter is originally from Cary, North Carolina, and a graduate of Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. His experience includes auditor, controller and VP positions in various industries. He was involved in the sale of Nycoil/Rectus-Tema Corp. to Parker Hannifin, being responsible for handling the due diligence on the U.S. side of the transaction. After a short time with Parker Hannifin Mr. Richter joined Leistritz Advanced Turbine Components as controller. Upon the sale of that turbine business to Ellwood Advanced components, he became the controller and ultimately general manager of the facility until his most recent promotion.
