The H-Bot lathe gantry loader from ATS Systems enables automated parts loading for CNC lathes. The system handles round slugs, castings and forgings ranging from 2" to 6" in diameter and can accommodate as much as 50 lbs per gripper. According to the company, the system enables job-to-job changeover in 10 min. and does not impede operator access to the work zone. The loader fits most 6", 8" and 10" chuck lathes with single or subspindle configurations, the company says.
