Hypertherm Associates’ latest Omax innovation in abrasive waterjet technology is designed to support customers implementing Smart Factory processes and digitalization. The Omax Utilization and Maintenance Dashboard is designed to provide operational insights and streamline part ordering for machine owners and operators. It monitors and collects key machine data including usage data, projected garnet consumption and anticipated maintenance needs to inform decision making and optimize processes.
The company’s Omax Order app is designed for part ordering accuracy on both iOS and Android platforms. Omax Order helps users identify the parts needed for a specific machine and promotes availability of spares and maintenance kits to minimize downtime from part failure. The app is said to integrate seamlessly with the Omax marketplace for ordering and fulfillment. The tool enables Omax abrasive waterjet system owners to optimize their investment, avoid unplanned downtime and reduce operating costs.
