Keller Products’ magnetic separators for machine tool coolants and cutting oils feature a magnetic rod assembly that fits standard 10" cartridge filter housings. Designed for metalworking operations on steel and cast iron, the assemblies contain two rare earth magnetic rods mounted in end caps to fit standard housings without modifications, enabling a variety of housing options. All-plastic and stainless-steel housings are available, or the assemblies can be used in customer housings. An assembly with two 2000 Gauss magnetic rods is recommended for moderate solids loading, while an assembly with two 5000 Gauss rods is recommended for heavy solids loading. The magnets are cleanable and reusable.
